Our sparkling wines shone again, in the prestigious international competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, when the judges from among tasters and journalists from all over the world awarded 5 gold medals and 1 silver medal to samples from Starý Plzenec. Our head cellar master and author of these sparkling gems, Josef Švéda, spoke about this valuable success. “We have gold medals specifically for Bohemia Sekt Prestige brut 2017 and 2021, Bohemia Sekt Prestige Chardonnay Brut 2019 and 2020 and Bohemia Sekt Prestige 36 brut 2019. In the round dedicated to rosé wines, Bohemia Sekt Prestige rosé brut 2021 also won a gold medal,” Švéda listed.
