Louis Girardot premium sparkling wine takes gold in Canada
Our Louis Girardot 2017 sparkling wine racked up a win at the international competition Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada 2024. This sparkling wine is named after Louis Girardot, a French oenologist who worked with us in Starý Plzenec in the late 1940s and left a lasting legacy at Bohemia Sekt. We produce the wine using the traditional bottle fermentation method, allowing it to age on the yeast lees for 24–36 months.
