This velvety soft wine has a fairly rich garnet colour. A striking combination of raspberries, fruit overall and strawberry leaves dominates its nose. Tones of vanilla and tobacco can be distinguished. Its taste is elegant and structured, accompanied by a pleasant touch of the barrel in which the wine matured. The aftertaste is long-lasting and ends in a pleasantly sweet tannin. This wine is a great match to surface-ripened soft cheeses such as brie, as well as game and fowl.
